UJA’s Walk with Israel is one of the largest Israel solidarity fundraising events in the world. First held in May 1970, more than 30,000 people are expected to join the Walk this year. Running through the heart of the Jewish community in North York, the Walk is an inspiring show of Jewish unity, pride, and support for our unbreakable bond with the land and people of Israel.

UJA's Walk with Israel takes place on Sunday, May 24, 2020 - rain or shine! Pre-Walk festivities, Registration, and Walk Package Pickups, including route maps, start at 8:45 a.m. The Walk begins promptly at 9.30 a.m.

The Walk will take place in the heart of the Jewish community in North York and wind its way through local neighbourhoods, ending up at the Renee & Irwin Nadal UJA Street Fest on a closed stretch of Bathurst Street. Details on the Walk route and the Street Fest will be posted in May 2020. Stay tuned!

Although the Walk with Israel does not feature a Run, UJA welcomes the entire community to Walk with us in solidarity with the people of Israel, and in joyful support of this signature annual event.

Details on the 2020 Walk route in North York will be posted in May 2020. Stay tuned!

The Walk route is designed with accessibility in mind. Should you have any questions, please contact us at

As TTC service to the Walk is easily accessible, there will not be any Shuttle Bus service to the Walk this year.
